A great weekend and my first accomplished goal

Saturday morning I left for a weekend in the Ardennes with friends from the Sint-Michielsbeweging. We went to Lavaux-Saint-Anne, a beautiful village with a vibrant, young monastery with both women and men. In the spirit of Saint-Franciscus, their life is filled with prayer and labour. It was very inspiring to stay at this community (though we stayed a few hundred meters further). I'll need a few weeks to reflect on everything I heard, saw and experienced.
Of course, I really enjoyed spending time with friends from Sint-Michiel, and getting to know other people.
The building where we were staying was a dump. In fact, it was so dirty that most of us decided not to sleep there. Instead, some slept in the church, some in their cars and a few slept outside. I did the last thing, because I don't have a car and don't really like sleeping in a church while they are adorating / venerating the sacramental bread. And of course, it was on my list, so I couldn't let this chance go by.
To be honest, I thought this goal would be one of the harder ones to tackle, but I accomplished it on the very first day of the challenge!
The pictures didn't turn out that great (should have asked someone to make them, instead of doing it myself), but you get the idea. Just picture me in the green sleeping bag.

And the funny thing is: I didn't get cold or wet at all!
